Dribbling Race
As shown in the diagram, two players each with a ball set up a pattern of 10 cones. Each player starts at opposite sides of the grid and starts dribbling in the direction indicated by the arrows in the picture. The dribbling is continuous. When the players reach the opposite side, they continue dribbling in the same pattern.
The usually lasts for 2 to 3 minutes, but it can be longer or shorter depending on the age and fitness level. If a player catches the other player. They should have to do some sort of punishment such as push-ups, sit-ups, or a fitness drill. For a more competitive approach have the players count how many cones they pass. The winning player gets some sort of prize. Usually they don’t have to do as much fitness. Competition will get your players working harder.
