Quick Pass Volley - Soccer Drills

Quick Pass Volley

Form groups of three. Each group has 2 balls. 1 player takes a ball in there hands. 1 player has the ball at there foot. The last player does the drill first.

The three players form a triangle. If we assume the player is going to use their right foot, the player without the ball faces the player with the ball at his foot(about 10 yards away), and the player with the soccer ball in his hands is to the left of the person with no ball.(about 5 yards away) If the player is using their left foot, the person with the ball in their hands would be to the right.

The idea of the drill is for the person without the ball to pass and volley the ball as quickly as possible. The player with the ball at their foot passes it, and the player with no ball passes it right back(one touch). Then the other player immediately tosses it to the player for a volley, and the player with no ball volleys it back into their hands. This repeats for several minutes, and then the players switch spots.

This drill should be done as fast as possible, but still maintain good clean accurate passes.
