Rotating Shootout
Divide your players in half to make two equal teams. Set up a cone around the penalty spot.
Half of each team lines up in line with the cone halfway between the six and the eighteen yard boxes. The other half of each team lines up diagonal to the rest of their team outside the eighteen yard box, but still horizontally aligned between the six and the eighteen yard box. The four groups of people should make a box. It is not as complicated as it sounds.
The team that decides not to shoot first sends a player from their team to play goalie. The other team passes the ball to the first player in the line outside the eighteen. That player shoots the ball. After he/she shoots, they go in goal , and the other team gets to shoot. The goalie goes to the passing line for their team, and the passer goes to the shooting line.
The game continues until one team gets a set number of points(usually 15).
-The shooters do not have to wait for the goalie to get in goal.
-The shots should be one touch shots.
-All players including goalies can participate.

Great drill. I have been using this drill for years. When practice has gone "sour" and you need to bring the kids back together, use this drill
